Kal-Haven Trail Run on May 1!!  This is a point to point race of about 34 miles.  It is typically done in teams of 6, or teams of 2, or solo.  Contact Terry Hutchins (269 375 5316) for more information.  Entry form (pdf).

Annual Meeting!!  The club held its annual meeting on March 8 to kick off the running season of 2004.   Last year was another year of change with the loss of the club president and the membership VP.  The club increased its number of Hash Runs and brought back the Kal-Haven Trail Run.  The club issued its calendar of 2004 events last December.   The full slate of events from 2003 will continue in 2004.   Most of them are free events that will spice up your running itinerary.  [click here for calendar...]  A couple new twists for 2004 include a mentoring program for new runners and "Club Championship Series." [click on for details...]  The club continues its relationship with Gazelle Sports with support of its marathon training program and cosponsorship of the "Christmas Run Through the Lights."  The guest speaker was Dan Wytko, coach at Portage Northern.  Dan spoke of his battle with cancer and how running provided him with a positive attitude in the fight and a support group to help him through it. Club Championship Series for 2004!! The club is sponsoring a championship series in 2004.  Points will be awarded based on finishes in local events.  These will be totaled to arrive at club age group champions for the 2004 season.  Read more!!
