Annual Meeting on Monday March 8!!  The club will have its annual meeting at  7:00 p.m. on March 8 at the Borgess Fitness Center.  Food, prizes, elections, and training tips!!  Dan Wytko, Portage Central HS Track & XC Coach and former WMU athlete, has agreed to present the latest on training techniques.  See you there!!

Local Runners Win at Dublin, OH!!  Two local runners won first place honors at the February 1 "Last Chance for Boston." Mike Northuis came in first in the 1/2 marathon with a 1:20:34 (6:09 ave) on a very chilly morning.  Bonnie Sexton (club membership VP) came in first in the marathon with a 3:16:44 (7:30 ave). Congratulations!!

Grand Rapids to host Marathon in 2004!  The first annual Grand Rapids Marathon will be held on October 31, 2004 starting and ending at Millennium Park. [more...]

Club Championship Series for 2004!! The club is sponsoring a championship series in 2004.  Points will be awarded based on finishes in local events.  These will be totaled to arrive at club age group champions for the 2004 season.  Read more!!
