The Kalamazoo Klassic is an annual community running event organized by the Kalamazoo Area Runners and MRC Industries, a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities find meaningful work. It features four major events:

Kids' Klassic Friday night 6:30 p.m.
The lead event is the Kids' Klassic. It is a 1K run sponsored by Gazelle Sports on Friday night.

10K Run 3rd Saturday in June 7:30 a.m.
Saturday starts early with the original 10K. The early start helps us beat the heat and keep the cost of traffic control down. The challenging course is a net downhill with the formidable Maple Hill right in the middle of it.

5K Run 3rd Saturday in June 8:45 a.m.
Next up is the 5K. Set in the scenic burbs of Kalamazoo, this downhill course is one of the fastest 5K's in the state.

5K Competitive Racewalk 3rd Saturday in June 8:45 a.m.
The 5K Competitive Racewalk is a non-monitored and non-judged.

5K Walk 3rd Saturday in June 8:45 a.m.
The 5K walk is a non-monitored fitness walk.
