Welcome to KAR
The Kalamazoo Area Runners (KAR) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the promotion of running as a source of physical, spiritual and social wellness while enhancing the quality of life in our community. With more than 600 members, KAR is Michigan's largest running club. Through a diverse program and event menu, we are committed to providing an encouraging environment welcoming runners of all goals and abilities.

- We are the founders and co-organizers of one of Kalamazoo's oldest and most prestigious races, the Kalamazoo Klassic.
- A variety of training programs, runs, and track workouts are offered throughout the year.
